the skinny.

ok, i have begun to narrow down my yarn options for knitting Grace by Debbie Bliss and i have come up with the following yarns and colors to choose from.
the following yarns fit my gauge.
Andean Silk by Knitpicks - a blend of alpaca, silk, and merino (read: heaven)

in either Lettuce

or Slate

or Cinnamon

My second yarn choice is Pastaza by Cascade made of llama and wool (you know i love those llamas).

In Spruce

or Artichoke

I have narrowed it down to five. I won't tell you what I am leaning towards as of now - mostly because I don't really know myself. Any opinions?

You guys are really crazy! I LOVE the patterns you have chosen-I'm so jealous! But I really need to get a handle on all of my projects-I finished another bag and have two on needles with yarn in the wings ready to go.I've been wearing my handknit socks and have decided they are the best-so need to get some more on needles. I think I'm going to sign up for the knitting Olympics and do my Norwegian mittens. As for the color for "Grace"-I love the lettuce-I'd stay away from the brown-choose something that will compliment your eyes! Love the "rogue" yarn. C-Dawg you MUST come visit & knit with Superbon!

yes i will share! as soon as i get the book - which better happen fast because i ordered it for the apt. and we are only here for one more week! yes - i have a feeling you will really get along with charis' mom.
colors, colors, i think i have narrowed it to lettuce or artichoke. do you think the lettuce will be too bright? i think i like the lettuce yarn better but i like the artichoke color.

I noticed you mentioned in an earlier post that you've forgotten how to make cables without a cable needle. The above link as photos to show you how :)

I say artichoke or spruce. Spruce seems timeless so you could wear it in 20 years or 20 yrs ago and still seem hip. Hope you're doing well!
